Sounds like a few of us work in the I.T sector. I work in Environment and Infastructure Support for a company called URS. I've been with them for almost 1yr now and very much enjoying it, a very challenging but rewarding role.

Im in IT also. Its a bespoke role really that I havent encountered outside this company, but i only deal with client estate compliance of things like AV, WSUS, Disk Encryption, Port Restriction etc. I think its only evolved out of the sheer incompantence of other departments lol.

Payroll & IT Systems Implementation/Training/Management. Gets me all over the place, London and Manchester this week, Belfast next week. I basically get paid to tell people what to do rather than doing it myself!!!
I touch on similar things, but obviously all internal for our Company in UK and Ireland... AV, Data Archiving, End user system encryption, setting up software license servers, GPO etc. etc. It goes on I think my role could be defined as 3 different ones.. Also down to the incompantence of certain other departments!!!
