Just doesn't suit the cup wheels though imo.

Maybe 4 , just need to make my mind up with tyres, I'm thinking of just using a set of the AD08Rs or the pilot super sports all year round for track and road save messing around changing wheels

 

That's what I've done Steve. I just can't part with the spare set of wheels though.

Know what you mean but I just carnt be bothered changing wheels, it's a job I hate, going to bang the set with the R888s on tomorrow and just run them till they need replacing then buy a full set of something that will do everything so I'm open to suggestions on what tyre will be good a all rounder that's why I was thinking of the AD08Rs or the PSS .

 

Well after my 'test drive' today I would recommend the AD08r's

 

What do you mean by the cup wheels?, the wheels I have are standard on the ph2 225 or do I have my wires crossed?

These are standard 225 wheels

 

On a phase 1 though aren't they?, phase 2 all have my wheels on I thought.

 

how ow easy was it?, are they ok in standard headlights, I have r26r lights which are halogen.

 

They have that beam deflector type deal in them

 

I'm going to now, like you say the halogen are cr'p, even with 110watt bulbs.

fitted my new rear pads today as the original ones had about 1mm left on them! car was serviced last week and is awaiting its new seats for now

Finally fitted uprated intercooler I've had knocking about since Christmas, can't believe how easy a job it was!

 

Waxed her, then managed to speak to some really arrogant other meg sport owners which I was suprised at! Were all normally such a lovely bunch lol

Paint this darn thing and put some stickers on it. 24 hrs to dry throughly then coat with lacquer and done.

 

Removed decals on the bumpers and wings and it's going to get resprayed tomorro

 

Today I've stripped and cleaned my brakes, bled the brakes with ate super blue, replaced all engine and gearbox mounts, removed my oil return pipe to sort my oil leak, tightened up a loose manifold bolt, fitted front mud flaps, fitted fog light blankers, replaced pollen filter and gave the car a quick clean
