Got the r26 on a rolling road today just for a power run to see. Hp and torque both dip slightly and rise greatly just before 3000rpm, guessing it's just the turbo kicking in but the guy running it said it could be injectors or spark plugs etc.
Did they use a fan to cool the engine, getting my car dyno'd tmrw and couldn't see a fan in any of the pics
Doesn't look as if they have a fan, what worries me more is that none of cars in the pics are strapped down
I know will ring them in the am and see what the score is as I'm not going if there's no fan nor strapping, overheating, poor bhp reading with no air going in and any problems it'll be straight into the wall!!!
Here is a link for the dyno they use from another specialist so let's hope that the lack of fan and strapping is for the pictures sake, will ring then tmrw to be sure
Yes mate, sanded until it was completely smooth, couple of coats of plastic primer, wet sanded, 3 coats gloss black then more wet sanding to take the shine off and make sure there were no blemishes in the paint, Stickers applied and then 3 coats of laquer. Will be wet sanded again next week and then polished and sealed before I stick it back on the motor.
I did Marshall, set up a new thread all about it, gains and indeed stock not as good as I thought, will be giving RS a ring tmrw to see what they think.
Not technically today but drove to Wales yesterday. 330 miles and still showing a 60 mile range - I think that's the most I've ever had from a tank!
Did a track day in it at spa along side jay, kay, jamiorquai, fantastic bloke and he's not to bad Behind the wheel of his GT3 RS either
