Hello folks sorry my first post is a problem but its an annoying one. My electric seat is stuck right back and underneath I can see this switch disconnected. Anyone able to inform me where it goes hopefully without removing seat :\ Looks like a limit switch of sorts? Im not the tallest person and with the seat far back its quiet difficult. Was hoovering when it stopped working so you can guess what happened...
I think it just clips onto something underneath, like a bracket of some kind. I can maybe see if I can get a picture of where mine is later if you need it.
That would be ideal if you could. Yeh it looks like it clips somewhere and at a guess because its not contacting with anything the circuit is incomplete?
Bump, could someone please do me a massive favour and take a pic of under their elec seat. In particular the side closest to the centre console. cheers
Sorry to go on and on but could someone please help me with the above. I dont have a renault dealer close by and driving is difficult with seat stuck right back. The pic of the switch is hooked onto the frame of the drivers seat closest to the centre console. Any help would be much appriciated.
Thanks Dinn that pics were perfect got the switch back on. however seat still not working so does anyone know the fuse for the seat? Doesnt mention it in handbook...
I just disconnected everything an the control panel then re connected and it all worked again when mine went off and heated seat wouldn't turn off!
