Ordered some Bolts to replace the rusty originals! Followed a useful link on the forum!

Yeah that's the one i followed.

 

The bolts fit perfect
Really good mod

 

Changed the bolts over and took some before and afters on the iPhone.
Before all my bolts were orange and rusty, very poor quality from Renault.

Changed them over no problem with the fitment at all.

Installed a superchips blue fin map as I couldn't afford the time nor money of going to RS Tuning in Leeds. Took 5 mins to install and 6 mins pulling the backward ECU cover off, eventually used a she'd key to slot in and the turn 90 degrees to get some leverage. Very impressed pull like crazy as it always did in 3rd put 4th no also has more urgency and low revs. Also seems to pop a bit mote through the mid box chop exhaust which I love. All in all well worth 359.99 and can drop it to standard easily enough too if need be.

I can see one of these appearing on the front of my car when the missus ain't looking I was thinking of using bolts but everyone seems to be screwing so might go that way is it any lower than the standard one I parked over a kerb at the weekend and my splitter was about 3 mm of it :rolleyes:

I found them ones the heads fell off when slamming the boot

Taken delivery of my millers nanodrive oil ready for an oil and coolant change.

 

With regards to coolant what is recommended for the RS250 I guess the same as you guys use for the R26's etc?

 

Caught my brother topping up power steering fluid with oil once coildnr believe it he said i wondered why it wasnt filling up on the stick

 

Does he know work for a Renault main dealer it looks as though he'd pass the entry test

 

Ha ha no but he's simple when it comes to cars u should have seen his face the other day when me and two mates were talking about our cars the words turbo vtec and rotary engine were being thrown out and he was 100% lost

 

2 new front tyres went for rainsport3's and replaced injectors

Sick of looking at that half-arsesd effort of an engine cover on my 250, so I did this:

Taxed it, then watched it tick over to 50k whilst out this afternoon.

 

pulled the recirc off fitted blanikin plate and did the airbox mod. then went out with two pals for a blast and videos after a quick clean

 

Realised I really need two new tyres before I put them back on for the summer.

Do I replace my front ps2's with supersports or another set of ps2's?

These ok to fit?

Car washed again today, was going to bleed the brakes but going to leave it and see how the current stuff copes on track next week.

That looks really nice, did you just use a rattle can? Mine looks manky and the grey doesn't help :/ quite like the black.

Had the splitter soprayed in satin.matt black and roof rails
The o/e colour doesn't suit a black car
Plus black studs fitted
