Hello chums new boy hear big Hi. I'm after a little help I've just bought a new to me 225 5 Door 57 reg.. Lovely car but my god the tyres are cack or ditch finders.. I'm keeping the stock size 225-40-18's but need some help on which ones. I'm looking at Michelins either PS2's or PSS but hears the thing they will be year round tyres and I live in Carlisle so a fair bit of rain. Any help or advice before I spend the best part of £500 plus please.. Best Colin.
PS2's fitted found I had one wheel buckled when the where fitting them. So I went to my local dealer to get a price. And how lucky am I they had a pair of used alloys £30 each so I picked the best one, now they are all true Colin.
You can't go wrong with ps2's or the pss' I had the ps2's from factory... phenomenal tyre and then most recently the pss' which are also a phenomenal tyre!!
I went for Yokohama AD08R all round. 225/40/18. £650 supplied and fitted. Totally changed the handling of the car. Amazing now
Not sure what size you're after but there's a few listed: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?mode=search
What do you think about those Dunlops? http://www.camskill.co.uk/m55b2524s...Eff_:_C_Wet_Grip:_A_NoiseClass:_1_Noise:_68dB Quiet, fuel saving and grade A on a wet. Price good too. Is it good choise for commuting? No track days etc.
They're decent tyres but there are better ones like ps2/3's and Eagle F1's. If you want cheaper options look at the vredstein ultra vorti
I'd just stick with Michelins then tbh as you can't really go wrong with any of the pilot sport range
That is true. I was always using Primacy HP and then Primacy 3 on my previous Laguna 2, Scenic 2 and Laguna 3 :-)
