Thought i would make up a thread just for BTCC and support car discussion. So Snett this weekend after a 6 week lull in proceedings. Cant wait personally. Any thoughts on who will be strong? Think JP will get a couple wins as mg are usually strong on fast tracks. Second passat to be launched? Will they get it done on time? If so i reckon it will be pretty poor and only finish 1 race if that! James kaye moving to the civic in s2000 garrenteed JS trophy wins there imo and a great battle with lea wood coming up for second half the season. And everyones favourite andy neate is due out in the cruze, first corner crash anyone? lol
Will Andy actually get out on track this time though, that's the question. He's meant to have been at the last 2!! Who's going this weekend?
Also I wonder about Wrathell (sp). I'm guessing he will retire after his off the track accident / crime.
Neate tested last week and has mallory testing this week apparently iirc. I have a spare ticket for sat and sunday if anyone is interested if not will sell on the gate

Still miffed as to why no1 has run the old 320i in the jack sears this year... If the vectra is competitive then the BM would have flew with someone like PON behind it, saying that he's skint.
Yeah both days staying up there in hotel sat night. The 1 series is awesome, looks the part and now goes like it too!

Im not sure yet, got to sort a few things out with my car ready for my track day during the week, waiting for mb to reply to see if hes free sat morning to sort them out, but if hes not yeah i will be going sat, as im a loner lol

Civic looks cool, was watching last yrs highlights from snett last night. The vectras were solid there so i think this yrs Sears races will be close!

Are you aloud in the pits/garages all the time? or only on certain times? how do you know if you got a pit pass?
Paddock pass allows access to Paddock obviously. Pit lane walk about is at 1pm on Sunday apparently. All other times you can usually see into the pit garages from behind but you'll be told to leave if you go in most of the time. Depends how strict they are feeling. Last year at Silverstone, me and a mate walked into KX pit garage, walked through onto the pit lane and watched them do an engine change on Plato's car. After 10 minutes they asked us to leave so we walked down to Pirteks garage and had a wonder around there.
