10 medium stops at 10mph. 20 medium stops at 20mph. 30 3/4 stops at 30mph. Let them cool and repeat the 30mph stops increasing to full force braking. Everybody has their own methods though
Lol! Which one did you go for? I've found a couple, but not sure which one to go for. This one looks like it only comes with actual mirror part - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321329127265?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 This one looks like it comes with more (sensor, cover etc), but it's listed for a Scenic - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-S...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a8c9d9cc2 Does anyone know if the Scenic mirror is the same part? It certainly looks the same as far as I can tell.....
I have one. I don't want 225s though. I'm just going to have to the air for funky tyres to contact me to take payment
Quick wash (only did it 3 days ago anyway) and more polishing and correction, well pleased with my new purchase of a DA as the car had a really odd but long scratch across the roof and while it's still there it's massively reduced. Currently on a break having been through 2 passes over the roof with 2 different grades of polish, going out again in a bit to do the last pass with some finishing polish and then planning to wax it.
Gave the inside a good clean. Fuck me it was dirty! Speed detailed the outside after yesterday's wash. Love this sunshine. It's like I went to sleep in the winter then woke up six months later in the summer!
Tell me about it Craig I've spent the last 2 days polishing and waxing it, lights out the lot, and I don't even like cleaning cars, can't seem to stop now though, also fitted rear mud flaps
Will do Chris's but this new photo bucket app is a bloody nightmare to upload pics, can't get used to it mate
Today was the third day of detailing the R26 and I've still not finished. How the hell is this practical? Granted, I keep stopping to get more beer, but this isn't work - Mon-Fri is for that. As soon as I drive it to work tomorrow, it will all have been for nought thought. Does anybody really detail a daily driver?
Yeah I detail my car once a year properly (correction) and do it several weekends after that for mini top up details. It's always worth it.
Carted a load of horse sh*t in the boot then a dump run with bits if the garden. Smells fragrant now.
Cleaned my passanger seat after my gf decided it was a good idea to sit on it with wet paint on her trousers.
Rolled out this from the garage, and promptly put it back as it was getting too cold to mess about with.
Jumped on the bandwagon and fitted an auto dimming rear view mirror, nice easy job, don't know why they weren't fitted as standard
Loads on the bay, just take your pick http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_t...o+dimming+rear+view+mirror&_sacat=0&_from=R40
Mine came today but are you supposed to have the brown and grey plugs connected or just one? Mines constantly got a green tinge to it.
New dampers, twist links, drop links, nsf & osf wishbones, pollen filter, oil filter, oil, spark plugs all ordered and delivered thanks to Adam. My desk at work is a little cluttered. Someone's megane is getting spoilt this weekend
On mine, their were 2 plugs already wired up, i presume for the rain sensor / climate control. Just one plug for the rear view mirror (grey i think) mine was wrapped in fabric and tucked away. The green tinge is normal as the brightness is controlled by the mirror, if you want to double check its working properly just cover up the hole / sensor on the back for a few seconds and it should turn darker
It's on my list mate but finances are dwindling this month. I'll get them bought and fitted next month. I would have bought them but cooksports and a decat became available and I couldn't resist. I'm so weak.... Are they awkward to fit?
Yeah I have the small black plug that goes into the rain sensor, then the bron plug that was connected now redundant and the grey plug which was wrapped up now plugged in? That correct?
Dropped my car of to get the cooksports fitted excited:rolleyes: Now having a long day at work waiting to go pick her up
