^^ Think I paid about the same. They had an offer at the local Kwik Fit, been ice cold ever since.

  4. My pump seems a little noisy sometimes, ive been told a re gas can help this too?

  5. Mark black regasses mine for around £20.

  6. I got mine done for £25.

  7. Cheapest I can find is £49 from Formula one, where is everyone getting these cheap deals?

Got mine done for a crate of beers

  9. Mine was done at a small local garage, £49 seems a bit steep!

  10. Thats includes lubrication but I thought they all did?

  11. I've heard kwik fit are good so booked a re gas and a 'ac cleanse' for £69 on Friday there the re gas was £49 from them

  12. I got mine gassed for about £30 then still no joy. Got air con tested and discovered a hole in the pipes and the unit itself was knackered. £400 later now sorted and vent temp is around 6degrees.

  13. For £400 I think I would have just opened a window

  14. The window option was fine but on a scorching hot day in the rain, there is a slight flaw in them plans

  15. I'd wipe the sweat off my brow with all those £400 worth of notes lol

  16. This system (Mk 2) leaks from 3 places.

    Inlet to cooler
    Either inlet/outlet from dryer
inlet to cooler matrix (in the dash)

Any leaks and it'll be either of these joints; pence to clean the seal and re connect (if you're unlucky it'll be a hole in the cooler, easily replaced £60 for the part).

It's just a pain in the ass that you don't need, however....the moral is, don't buy French; but we knew that anyway!

There's a lot to be said for the open window and the wind in your hair (along with the buffeting in your ears!).

Corners of the condenser goes, fairly common on mk2s
