Michelin PS2 or PS3?

  1. Need new tyres on my Megane as running some crappy "barum" ones at the moment.
Looking on Blackcircles I can get PS2 or PS3's for pretty much the same price give or take 50p.

What does everyone recommend out of the two?

  2. From what I understand PS2 are the way forward. That's what I put on my R26 after doing a bit of research on here.

  3. Thanks mate, does seen the ps2's are the one to go for after reading a few threads.

  4. As mentioned ps2s or the pilot super sports if you want a tyre that's just as good if not a little better... but you can only get them in 225 size... which seem just as wide as a 235 hankook tyre I had on previously... plus they're cheaper!

  5. I just put new PS2's on mine, love those tyres, fantastic grip.

From what I read somewhere, the PS3's aren't actually the replacement for PS2's, the sport cup from michelin are the PS2 replacements. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong there.

  7. Hi mate
i've got a used set of PS3 and PS2s if you're interested, pm me, i,m only just over the Dartford crossing, tyres have loads of life left in them.

  8. Just ordered a full set of PS2's in 225 for the R26. I think the PS3's are regarded as being a little better in the wet than the 2's but in the dry the 2's are quite a bit better.

I'm not sure how much longer these are going to be available, Michelin don't list them any more.

  9. ps2 over ps3 anyday

  10. I'm running ps3's and have no trouble whatsoever with them

  11. This, find they're great in the dry and the wet and done a track day on them and find them an all round good tyre.
