Happened a couple of days ago, if I go above 3k revs it will just misfire then go into limp mode, car is completely fine below 3k. what could this be? Injectors? Coils? My my code reader brings no faults up.
Just swapped the injectors with a spare set I had and the problem is still there, Infact worse! Car just sounds like a Subaru! I think I'm going to take it to a garage and get it on a Clip rather than fork out for things I don't need.
Mine was a coil. I got mine plugged into the renault CLIP and it came up with the exact fault. Seems to be alot of this on here lately
Yeah it's a right pain! Also when unplugging the coils when the car is running are they all suppose to make the car almost stall?
Sounds like a coil or coils to me, happened to our 500 recently. Though on that the ECU shut down the car and wouldnt let it start again !
When we unplugged the coils one by one the car went onto 2 cylinders. Which made us think it wasnt a coil at fault. It was a coil though.
Ahh that would explain why number 2&3 did nothing when un plugged. its booked in tomorrow to go onto a clip.
