A pillar gauge pod . . . Boost Gauge!

  1. Hey,

Got a boost gauge which I want to mount on the A pillar . . .

I have sourced a spare A pillar to be modified now just need the gauge pod.

Has anyone fitted one here? Or does anyone know someone who supplies custom made ones cheap?

If not I was going to buy a universal carbon fibre one and fingers crossed it would wrap round to some degree which I could then fit it with an adhesive.

I'm not too concerned about having it covered in lovely carpet just want it to look ok.

    Thanks, Rich.

  2. Ok I have tracked back on the forum and managed to find a guy fairly local to me who can fabricate this sort of thing, just waiting on a price . . .

Seeing as I'm going to quite a bit of trouble for this I thought I may as well get a duel pod, what other gauge would be handy which is not particularly well read by a scan gauge . . . ??

Oil temperature isn't read by scan gauges, however you will need to fit a sandwich plate for the sensor between the oil filter and the engine.

  4. Sounds like a tricky job?

  5. I've got a boost gauge on my drivers door at the bottom of the window. It isn't connected and I don't really want it! Any ideas how to remove it and get a plain piece to replace it?

  6. Havent done one myself, but if you can change an oil filter you can put in a sandwich plate!

  7. Sandwich plate is easy to fit!. Main thing is room, but I should imagine theres enough room.
