Which cat back system is the loudest I have heard the milltek and not much louder than stock I don't want it daft but needs to be defo abit louder than stock Cheers
Rs tuning have just produced a 3" system, there's a thread just put up about it and it sounds amazing
Even a back box chop will make it louder. Going for the loudest exhaust isn't ideal. The loudest night sound crap.
^ +1 i have 3" turbo back after only having a mid box chop and getting decat it is loud but not stupid loud
Cheers guys I think I will need 2.75" exhaust as don't want to get it re mapped again Had the centre box chop but still very quite Might have the rear chop if I can't get a decent priced cat back system
If you want loud you could just go to your local Powerflow centre, ask them to make you a 3" straight through pipe from the Cat and it'll be b*stard loud. Not necessarily the best though. I remember back in the day (around 2006) when I bought my first 225 some of the guys on Meganesport.net experimenting and the loudest I recall that wasn't killer was removing the back box. Sounded like a Tie fighter driving past.
Id very much like to see solid proof of this, from looking at pictures of the system I see no way this is true unless the restriction is inside a box.
I think Andybond is looking for this. Ive looked at my 3" ktec system and it looks the same size all the way no reductions at all. I will be measuring it at the weekend though so will know for sure then.
