RS Tuning 3 Inch exhaust.

    I have just picked up my car with the RS Tuning true 3 inch exhaust.

    I dont often use youngesters expressions , with me being 34 and all. But , ZOMG.

    Its around the same noise as a center box chop on idle and driving around , but once you open it up it sounds the business.

    The whistle is gone ( but I dont miss it as I had the center box chop prior to the exhaust )

    I have a 3inch RS tuning decat , mated to the 3 inch exhaust. It sounds superb from the outside. I have a video of it , but it really , really doesnt do it justice.

    The other thing that blew my mind is the sheer quality. You might have a 3inch RS tuning decat on your car. The quality is identical . Its exhaust porn. Ill try and get pics this week as its throwing it down at the mo.

    This is a TRUE 3 inch , ie no pinch points like others on the market. It looks a little like the Clio V6 after market exhausts. I honestly cant get over the quality.

    I haven't had it on Dyno for performance. I hope to at some point.

    Honestly sounds even better in the flesh.

    Ye I spoke to him a few days ago and he said they should be ready to go end of this month but pricing is still being finalised. Again, £600 for cat back was mentioned.

    Are these pinch points on the ktec one? And are they a restriction on a Megane around 290bhp?

    My car came with this exhaust fitted and im hoping to get to close to this figure when I fit some more mods.

    This is from my own investigation. The miltek/ktec system has 2 3/4 inch Most of the way. It reduces in places to 2 inch for ease of packaging.

    This one doesn't in any way shape or form have a pinch point. It's 3 inch all the way.

    Yes but are they a restriction at all under 300 bhp?

    I will wait to make my decision until I see some before and after dyno runs.

    Also want to hear what it sounds like with a cat fitted.

    Bakersfield. Just moved there from Bilbrough. Had your mate round to do both my meganes aircon not too long ago.

    As soon as he described his mates R I knew it was yours.

    Just had a quick look under my car and there is no way my exhaust reduces to 2" anywhere. I couldn't see any reductions at all any where in the system. It was only a quick look but when I get time I will get under there with my calipers.

    Where specifically are these reductions?

    Couldn't see it on my ktec either. Wouldn't mind the RS tuning exhaust but have a full 3" ktec so no chance in swapping it over just because name/brand is better

    If this is proven to be better in performance than my ktec system I will swap over but until then I wont. I absolutely love the noise from my current exhaust and it fits and looks perfect to me so dont see any reason to no matter who makes/sells It.

    I love the rs tuning 3inch exhaust, but i have the piper 3" inch so i wont be changing, its just come to late in the day for me im afraid to say
