My White Megane 250 CUP

Hi Guys, just joined this as meganesport.net is like ghost town now.... anyways I've copied my progreess thread from there Enjoy




I have a white megane 250 cup for about 5 months now, its fully loaded with pretty much every option. Havent got much planned at the moment its super fast as it is coming from 1.2 corsa power!!


Anyway here is the corsa which I still have:

Now Mods:

First up got rid of yellow indicators.

Then put in some white led to match xenons

And finnaly some black badge cover which I got of ebay seems ok

 

So the interior is done for most part, just need to find 265 steering wheels then I'll be done with inside.


Here are few pics excuse the dirt was too hot to give it good hover.

 

Ordered few 501 SMDs and changed all interior lights. Looks much better inside and ALOT brighter.




















Also changed changed from sidelight as these were better match to xenons than one I already had.

Few updates,


First off sub box is finnaly finised and will be going in car once i feel like been very lazy weatdrop:


Also changed gear knob, gear gatior and door handles to chrome ones.

 

They fit directly no modification required.

So my rear taillight was p***ing me off for very long time with condensation, tried everything but just kept coming back so decided to bit the bullet and just buy new one luckly wasn't that expensive.

Small update:

Been a bad month nail got into sidewall of tyre and rear ones were on their way out so ordered 4 new vredestein ultrac sennanta for £99ea delivered not bad I remember few months ago I paid £107ea.

Plans for next year:

Refurb 18" gloss black.
Get roof painted gloss black or wrapped.
Lowering Springs.
Scorpion non res exhaust.
Injen Inducation kit.
Remap from RS tunning
Get door handles painted white to match the car.
Get engine cover dipped in red carbon.
Forge Intercooler.

Will be busy year for me

 

Had 4 tyres fitted and so far very happy car performs very well in wet now.

 

Very easy mod but totally changes the inside

 

Haven't done anything in a while, but just ordered scorpion non res cat back cant wait.

Nice unless your car is white (fastest colour) it wont sound as good as mine.

 

No you have to put too many black coats = heavier car . White is lighest as the paint dont weigh anything.

 

Atleast now you know but it will be embarrassing when you try to race white megane and lose.

 

Exhaust has been dispatched.

 

Just had exhaust fitted couldn't be happier sound amazing in sport mode pops and bangs all the time, sure after more miles its only going to get better.

 

I bought from demon tweeks also heard there were bad exhausts about but scorpion seem to have fixed issue with new exhaust.

 

Next up will be lowering springs but waiting untill cooksport comes out with something.

 

Made a video with iPhone of the exhaust not best quality but its ok, ideally need good headphone or speaker to get real life sound but in person it sound 10x better.
