Hey guys, I seem to have developed a problem. Car is a 225 f1team ultra blue(not r26) Recently i have had abit of work done to the car... had a clutch and flywheel fitted and new radiator along with a vacuum boost gauge got the car back on the road and for 1 day it ran perfect felt like a new car. However a day later the car started to have a crazy missfire so i linked it up to the torque odb2 app on my phone and it said random missfire after this i changed the sparkplugs that renault suggest nkg PFR7Z-TG... after this the car ran fine for about 1 hour... 10 miles started it up the next day and drove it with a missfire that made it sound like a tank and Esp fault came up. now ive replaced coil packs and the car runs fine untill i floor the accelerator and it misfires and drops power but no code on the torque app and no engine management light on. Anyone know what this could be? anyone had similar problems before?
its shell v power and its been in the car for like 3+ weeks as car was in garage for clutch... do the injectors need replacing or cleaning? or will redex injector cleaner do the job
Mark Black has a good reputation and getting injectors cleaned does work. It worked for me, wish I saved some money by going to Mark for that though.
well its either standard injectors cleaned or wait and spend 400 on 630cc ones from ktec.. cars mapped to 277 atm and its in need of some uprated ones soon anyway but its the fact its cost me just under a k in last month =/
I've looked into the torque app and seen the f/t 1x2 stays at -100% even when driving is this right if not what does this refer to
Mine was cutting the power under load and only sometimes chucking up the ESP fault code. I had it plugged into a Renault CLIP computer and it came up as a missfire on cylinder 3. I had already replaced the spark plugs and changed coils about with a spare one, and changed the injectors about 1 by 1 with a brand new renault one but none of that worked. So when it came up with cyl 3 i bought a brand new renault coil and that solved it! Been running like a dream since then
ok cars not missfiring anymore... another problem i have is that when i floor it it seems to hit boost and then loses power and makes a weird noise?
it was the boost control valve, took it off cleaned it replaced and runs like a dream now thanks guys
