I came down 5 or 6 squares and straight up from the edge of the circle intake if that makes sense it sounds good with the bonnet up but in the car not that noticeable I used the pipercross filter from rst
Fitted cooksport springs, decat, and new front braided hoses as the old were rubbing and ruined. Well, the good folks at Birchdown did, for what struck me as an inordinately good price.
Had the cooksports fitted New rst air filter HD6000 lights and sprayed the rear and frt grills in gloss black Much nicer
Got it back from the hub recall ... 3 days after it when after being told it'd be four hours on the Monday Tucked it away in its corner of the workshop and stuck its battery conditioner back on.
Fitted a new set of washer jets (normal, fed up of looking for Kangoo ones). Hoped it would improve my windscreen washers. No such luck. Must have a leaky pipe somewhere.
Did mine for the year last week. I'm with Brentacre, 180 cheaper than last year. I didn't even bother to check elsewhere...
Took it to RSTuning for a service and some repairs, turns out the vibrations coming tho the cabin were the result of a loose engine mount. It now feels like a new car so much quieter and smoother. Always happy when I leave that place
Come back from RS tuning today. Stage one with only mod being eBay cooler and DIY induction kit made 261.3 BHP and 288 ftlb of torque. Slightly under read as I have winter tyres apparently. So maybe 1/2 BHP if that difference. Made 235 as standard, just my cat holding me back so next on the shopping list is Decat and 630cc injectors and should see me at 290max in the summer.
Waeco MSH-601 or something along them lines. Hopefully have them all done and wired in by this/next weekend.
Gave the interior of my Trophy a bit of a detail whilst the sun was out (briefly) and put a cherry Magic Tree in. Smells nice inside and nice and clean.
I made a trip on Friday to see Paul @ RSTuning. I already had a remote remap (fastchip.nl) (Red is fastchip/Henk, Green is RSTuning)
