Stage 2 requirements

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by Dino, Mar 11, 2025.

  1. I have a 2011 RS250 currently mapped to 300hp/415nm with a midbox chop and a forge recirculation valve. Im planning to make it stage 2 with an intercooler, decat downpipe, silicone hoses and a remap. Im also planning to install a valved exhaust. My question is do i need to touch the fuel system (fuel pump and injectors) or does it hold up safely to at least 330-340hp? Also what should i expect realistically with those mods regarding reliability and fuel consumption? Any advice before i make the decision?

I believe stock turbo and injectors will be maxed out at around 315hp.

My car is remapped and runs 301hp with the modifications listed below.
Maximum boost is now close to 1,7 bar (stock 1,32 bar) and injector duty cycle 86%.

My advise is to install supporting mods but keep the power at 300-310hp
It’s plenty fast in my opinion. Top speed is 158 mph GPS on flat surface.
