Purchased my 300 trophy a month back, thought I’d keep a little diary of it. Found my perfect spec, 18000 miles, recaros, Bose, Visio, larger screen. on the way home I noticed the dreaded gearbox whine in 5/6th, the garage is going halves with me so booked in with awmotorworks beginning of Jan. when it’s there it’s having a full service, aux belt, plugs, grams springs, airtec intercooler and a little map with engine dynamics
Decided I wanted to dechrome, so sent it off to have window trims, door handles, side vents and front badge tint
Next thing on the list was black badge on the back and different side vent and front badge. I also booked in to have a full deep clean, machine polish and ceramic coat, looks unreal now
A trip to Alex at AWMotorworks to carry out some work. New bearings, was a loud whine in 5/6th, common issue Next up was a full service, pollen filter, aux belt, plugs. when it was there I had a airtec intercooler fitted, some grams springs fitted, full wheel alignment then a map with engine dynamics. Needs a good clean now
