Hi I’ve just noticed the footwell is damp on my MK2 175 dci I will clean the drainage holes. Has anyone done any kind of mod to prevent this from happening again? Thanks
Remove bottom bit of drain pipe, thats generally where the blockages occur. You can fit a slightly larger pipe over the existing one, to extend it as well. IF the holes are clear, look to the door membrane/speaker sealant, door drain holes.
Thanks. I recently had the door card off to to the window mechanism and it was damp in there. I’ll have a good look.
Excuse my ignorance but where does the issue lie with the water ingress on the Renaults? seems to be a big issue!!! Thanks
the drains block, so the water level rises and them runs down into the heater unit and runs out of the bottom into the foot wells
