Hi guys, Hoping I've posted this in the correct thread Suspect air con leak, see attached pics, sorry i cant attach a video. Just had a regas and it appears air con fluid is leaking from this open ended hose? Is this an overflow pipe or similar, or is there supposed to actually be something on the end of it? Has anyone experienced something similar? Note that the air con still works for the time being. Thanks in advance guys, James
Hi James That looks like the drain from the heater unit inside the car, as its cold and warm air is passed through it it makes condensation, this then drips into the bottom of the heater box and run out of there. If you are seeing green fluid from there, i would say that you have a leak from the condenser inside the heater unit. Good luck with getting that out
