Hi all, recently bought an rs250 and loving it so far. However over the last week I've noticed oil spots appearing on the back of the car after driving. Also, the car sometimes ticks on cold start for a few seconds which I assume is to do with the distribution of oil too, although my research shows that is fairly normal for this engine. Any advice is highly appreciated!
Monitor oil consumption, is it smoking at all. Its common to see black dots all the way up the back especially with decat though, usually carbon deposits
Definitely burning a bit of oil, but not a concerning amount. Car isn't smoking at all and isn't decat. Thanks for the reply.
My 250 is de-cat with cat-back exhaust system and I do get them (carbon deposits) as well. Nothing to be worried about
