Thought I'd start a little progress blog on my track car, a 62k mile Saxo Vts with Jenvey throttle bodies. I bought this late last year after a long search for someone small, light and capable. It came to me with At Power throttle bodies, mapped on the original Citroen ecu. It made 167 bhp on this set up before I opted for an Emerald K6 ecu. The car as then mapped at West Tuning in Thruxton and made 171 bhp. It now has a set of Jenvey throttle bodies with 90mm trumpets, made 174 bhp at West Tuning with a rev limit of 7900 rpm. The car is fully stripped, materials cut from bootlid, engine bay and interior, weighs 831 kg with 1/4 tank, decent power to weight and certainly surprises a lot of more expensive cars. Other plans include possibly a less aggressive front brake set up, the Brembos fitted at the moment are absolute overkill Looking forward to doing a couple of trackdays this springs.
Looks class, will go well that. Fond memories of revving the nads off them and 106gti's back in the day.
