Rs265 Lower arm??

  1. Hi guys,

could anyone explain the huge price difference in lower arms for the 250 compared to the 265/275?

Mines the cup 265 and Paul from rpd said he can only recommend what renault say but I wasn’t sure if it’s just the weight that is the difference.

If anyone has gone for the cheaper option please let me know how you got on with them.

    thanks,
    Max

  2. Recently refurbished suspension here for a 265, including new lower arms as per cheaper 250 versions..
Predictably no difference in driving feel or weight detected. Had them side by side and look identical. Can confirm they fit fine too

  3. Thanks for that mate, yeah I couldn’t get my head around the prices in all honestly. How long have you been running the new parts for? I expect bushes and joints are still the same oe quality etc?

  4. Yes mate all OE quality, bushes all come as part of the arm as I'm sure you know.
Had mine fitted 2 weeks now as part of a OE refresh at 65k. New springs/dampers/drop links/anti rotation links/top mounts/swivel joints and arms.
Honestly, if feels slightly better but was surprised how little wear there was on original parts! Good for piece of mind though.

  5. That’s peace of mind mate I appreciate that so thank you! Yeah I’m in the middle of getting everything for the front of mine as well so deffo looking forward to it driving true etc:smile:
