250 Brake pad & disc replacement

I went to do this yesterday on my car but realised didn't have a huge 12mm key on me for calipers back to it today

Firstly great video, we desperately need more meg videos on general maintenance etc etc.

Well done on those pads sir, they were used for every last inch of their lives .

A couple of tips I could add to anyone watching this, this guy was very very lucky with those pins. They are sometimes an absolute disaster to take off so I would recommend the following. 100% buy a replacement set of pins, well worth it as knocking these pins out can make them bow. For the cost of new pins its always worth it.

Secondly if like me you have issues getting these pins out then rather than going to town, smacking the crap out of the pin and probably chipping your calipers give this a try. I used a dremel and just cut the pins off, couple of cuts to release the pressure and youll notice that the front part will just fall out and the rear may need a little persuasion. I spent about an hour on one side trying to get the pin out, the other side 2 mins

Not 2000’s though so i would say mitsi or scooby
