If you replace it , you're better off upgrading it requires the same process. 5.25" /13cm diameter speakers. Ebay has an abundance of packages where they supply you with the bracket, adapter and speaker specifically for the Meg 3.
I have three spare somewhere from when I swapped them out because of a blown rear. If you do decide to upgrade instead, you'll need to be spending at least £70+ on something like Pioneer components to make a perceptible improvement. The sound quality on the Arkamys isn't too bad - it's just that they seem to have marginal power handling that's quite intolerant to amplifier clipping,
