Stereo saga Pt2. Help!

  1. 2011 Megane 1.5 dCi Dynamique Tomtom. Story so far- bought car 3 weeks ago. Bluetooth stereo has been replaced with stock standard cd/radio unit (I still have "phone" button on console and mic behind alarm sensor). Bought facelift unit (with usb) to replace but different wiring harness. Bah). Bought recommended bluetooth unit (in photo) fits, but not working. Has power, backlit and switches tomtom/clock with power button. No option at all to enter code. Why? What do I have to do? Manual shows different fuse layout. Done 50 minute run this morning - still no code prompt.

  2. I too have an 11 plate 1.5dci Tom Tom.

If you think I can help but using nice as a mule please let me know

  3. I'm now convinced that the previous owner reconfigured the wiring on the harness - it's the only solution I can see. Can someone please send me a photo of the correct wiring please?

  4. This is what it's like now...

  5. If I can later I'll pull my one out of the sci Megane to see. I've got quite a few errands to run mind

  6. Many thanks. I have to eliminate whether it's the wiring or not. I won't be able to fit anything if the wiring has been reconfigured.

  7. I've just got home so I'll attempt this tomorrow. Is this the wiring directly behind the CD player?

  8. Yeah, it's the back of the car's wiring harness. Strange thing is tho, this works fine on the old cd/radio unit. What's going on?! I was assured that the Renault bluetooth radio I've bought is in working order so why is it dead?
