The Clio shifters are terrible, pay the extra and get a Coolerworx/CAE/ZPO

  3. Ok, thanks for the info. Not only an assumption, really experienced? I wouldn´t basically claim that turkey parts are junk. Even from China there are good parts, depending on how is the responsible shop leader and whats the mindset of him. In turkey are lots of guys which worked for a long time in Germany and they learned how to produce real quality. Maybe, but must not be the case....Anyway, did somebody order the shifter and was disappointed? BTW: I´ve got a set of race rods and pistons from Greece for a Ford Pinto, the quality is outstanding, really perfect. As long as I didn´t see the parts, I wouldn´t judge about.

The guys that have bought the clio ones have either sent them back, or had to completely rebuild them.

Dunno why you'd buy something with questionable quality when you could get a Coolerworx for the same or less.

  6. yer that’s not good, bit lottery then

  7. Coolerworx for the same or less? The tessa was 600 €...who sells Coolerworx for that amount? To my knowledge, its 800 or at least 750 (€, not pound !!, but including VAT) Ok, seems to be poor quality, would refrain from buying.

this french bloke had to modify a few things for it to be ok, best off spending a bit and not having to modify and fix things you shouldnt have to when spending £600+

  11. If your spending in the region of 600+ you really shouldn’t have to be modifying something to work or fit. I’d spend the extra and get a brand that’s tried and tested

  12. Does anyone know if this invalidates the car insurance? I remember ticking a box that the car was not modified.
Does this count as a modification?

  13. cant say ever heard of gear lever requiring insurance notification, but in these time of sudden change guess anything's possible

  14. How knows the best offer for Coolerworx shifters for the Mk 3 in the moment? Any discounts available?
