It all started in December when i realized the brakes pedal is soft and fails low down with shakes and it doesnt stop as it should be. the first thing I did was bled the system. there was air inside this was enough for 3 days and then the pedal is down again and all same symptoms. pumped a few more times and again for 2-3 days everything is fine and then the problem returns then I changed the brake master cylinder and vaakum, and pumped the system again, but the replacement also did not help. after 3 days the pedal falls again. there is no leaks anywhere. front calipers bought new from Kam Racing. pads and discs are also new Maybe someone had this. what is the matter and how to fix the problem. It scary to ride
oh I replace that part for original one with new clutch maybe 7000km ago (( and did you mean clutch line and brakes are interconnected at Megane?
that's annoying, one thing for sure something's been missed and there's still small amount air in system, do you have a good independent dealer you can ask for help, typically id not use Reno dealer
Hi Matthew, It is very unlikely that your problem come from the ABS module or block as you call it. It seems like you already changed parts without much success. Is the problem start happening after your replaced the clutch/master cylinder or brake calipers? Might not be the quickest solution but inspecting properly all brakes calipers to see if any oily residues around the pistons can be seen as every connections, hoses, pipes, in your brake & clutch system will be a good start. But as Bosban mentioned, a small amount of air trapped in your system might disappeared with a "quick bleed" but migrate again after few days. A long bleed using a diagnostic computer to open ABS valve individually might be worth the try before a long inspection.
I have tried all these ways already !! no smudges anywhere, we have already done everything that can be checked !! we bleed system already 8 times and also with abs valve opening by Clip!! 3 days everything ok and after problem returns
One thing could try and worked for me several times is back-bleed system Pressurise the bleed screw at calliper and watch bubbles come up in resevoir can send link for simple kit for this if needed
yes I understand what you are talking about !! so we did too !! the device supplied air through the brake fluid barrels !! I repeat, we expel air from the system and it somehow gets back there after a while
