Front brake pads

  1. Hi all

I need to replace the front brake pads on my megane 275 and I have been looking at brake pads on a few sites. I have seen standard cup pads on rpd, I also seen brembo ones on euro car parts. Does anyone know if these pads will be different or just the rpd ones have Renault on them ? Thanks. Screenshot_20201105-133845_Samsung Internet.jpg Screenshot_20201105-133727_Chrome.jpg

  2. You can get the PFC z rated pads for the same sort of money as those OE pads on RPD. Same low noise and low dust characteristics as the standard pad but with more bite and hold up on track better.

  3. I have heard a few taking about they pads @Vulcan3 they must be decent. I had carbon Lorraine on my 197 they were awesome but I am keeping them for track would say they are to noisy for road use lol.

  4. Yeah you can't go wrong with the pfc pads. Equally those oem pads at 33 quid are great value. Depends what suits you best.

  5. Standard pads will be fine for the road @Vulcan3 thats what I have on my 197 and 172 cup and have kept my carbon Lorraine rc5+ pads for the track for the 197. Do you know if the 197 pads are different fitment from the meagne rs 3 pads ? I think they will be with the caliper been different on the megane 3 .
