Has anyone got there bumper off there mk2 I think someone has mixed all the pipes up can anyone show me how there meant to piped up ? And also which colour wires goes to which pump ?
You have two pumps. The upper one is for xenon. For the upper one it doesn't matter where which pipe goes . The lower pump should be tried to find out which pipe is going where. The transparent tube is for the back. Connectors and direction you have to try
When you say upper ? I have one at the front of the bottle and one at the back so the one at the back (Nearest the wheel) has the two pipes coming out of it but when you try to squirt them nothing happens so I’m wondering if the wiring is the wrong way aswell
I think someone said If you have headlamp washers, they don't wash on every squirt, so might appear they are not working when they are.
Mine has the headlight washer blanks in so there’s no pipes going to one pump but everything else going to the back pump that why I’m wondering if everything is mixed up wiring and piping wise
Nothing bad will happen if you switch the cables. The one that is lowered is the main one. The one that is slightly raised is for the headlights. The pumps are identical.You can easily swap them if one pump doesn't work.
