hi well i thought it was about time i started a project thread. i have owned the car 6 months now which is a record for me im 22 and get bored very easily hense owning 26 cars now. i was buying my first house and had my saab 93 2l turbo fully forged engine ect still have it t my folks house and an escort rs turbo which i swapped my mk4 gsi for which i sadly had to sell the rs to decorate the house. so me and the misses went to glasgow and i thot awk lets go car shopping for somthing to do had no intention of buying a car just fancied a look. so we pulled outside this tiny garage and she thought awk ill wait in the car doesnt look like thers anything decent in there. so i went in and seen my pried and joy walked straight out and ctold her to come in for a look i just couldnt keep my eyes off it i had never seen an f1 model before just the 225. took it a test run and well lets just say a deposit was left ha. needed a few things done so got a fair bit off the price and had no service history ect which wasnt to good but as i used to work for renault i soon got my hands on some old history of the car. so this is it before i picked it up sorry about the pic dont know how to get it from side angle as im pretty rubbish with computers.
so first thing was first removed the silly we airfilter tht som1 had fitted and put on an itg cotton filter. car already had forge dump valve and blanking plate and centre section exhuast removed. i then ordered a unaversal intercooler for the car aswell as a full timingbelt kit ect and service kit. lowering springs. booked in for a remap and wheels to be powdercoated :d and the rear silincer to be removed will post up pics as soon as i can work this ha

mate use tapatalk go in app store download it fint the forum and log in and then you can upload as many photos as you want thats what a use
So today I decided to fit my pressed number plates. Black badges and rs bonnet vents. Will upload pictures shortly. Mods so far is window tints wheels refurbed black again lowered miltek decat miltek full system front mounted intercooler itg cotton filter forge dump valve and blanking plate boost gadge rs bonnet vents pressed numberplates black Renault badges remap by a company called ves-sport. soon as I got the car I ordered a full service kit and timing belt kit ect so there done. Hope to order more stuff soon once I save up a little. Cheers for looking

Nice looking f1 that mate i personally think those blue 225 f1s ard the best looking i went for the r26 just for the lsd abd suspension improvements
Aye iv scuffed the front bumper gtn in and out my house and few other bits need painting to have it mint but I'll save or tht just wanna get more power first tho
Thats how my old F1 looked... Get yourself some r26r headlights or xneon's they have a black internal surround that really changes the whole front!! Lovly car btw
That actually looks amazing where did u get the r26r stickers? What was all done to it? I have been thinkn about the headlights on how toget the inside black didn't realise the r26r ones were. Also just ordered the forge hard pipe kit for a really good price :d can't wait to get the engine bay all tidyd up and looking sweet
That clamp round the boost pipe looks horrible! Shame the brackets keep cracking. induction system looks good get that tool box cleaned, its almost as dirty as mine
Yeah p clip looks crap eh really bad design thot forge would be better than that. Aye it's a big pipercross airfilter ha. Aw ano man my box always gets manky ha ha
The induction kit will sound amazing! Blank off the dump valve and kink the vac hose and go a run, sounds so much better with the chatter. ha, orange is going to be a nightmare to keep clean! Mines red bull blue and its nightmare! Lol
Aye I already have an itg cotton filter already and forge blanking plate. I did kink the hose but the misses was like wtf have u done to the car ha. Bt I do love chatter. Booked into ecotune for terraclean and rollin road in 2 weeks. Aye any pics of the tool box? A got myn for a really good price so couldn't resist ha bt authentic orange is a nightmare bt a good bit of wd 40 and it does clean up well ha.
I like the chatter noise, but everyone thinks the cars broken when they get in it. Ha. the green cotton filter might be restrictive, so you might get a decent gain from changing it to the larger piper unit. heres a pic of my dirty box. Haha. going to change it for a bigger one soon.
Aye a do love chatter myself my mate had an old corsA c20let and the chatter from that was amazing. Aye hopfully ill just be glad to see what power I'm running. That's a belter of a tool box how come u need a bigger 1 ha the snap on boxes are brilliant Thers always belters on ebay
That tool box is the biz. Mac tools. Quality gear. Always do good boxes. Remember my stepdad having a rizzla Suzuki one
Iv ran out of space in the box for tools, so i need a larger one! Snap on boxes dont offer me anymore storage space, so im looking at the mac tools tech series! (£10k box!)
