Renaultsport number 7!

  1. Hey guys, back again. I just can't seem to keep away. This time I bought a fantastic low mileage R26.
I've previously owned a Clio 182 and two Clio 200's and a Megane 250 Cup and two 265's (one Cup and one lux with cup).

I sold the last 265 as I was in a position to buy a new i30n performance. Great car which I loved but having moved in March, it was just sitting on the drive not being used and costing me loads. I decided to sell whilst I wasn't going to lose any money and get back in a Megane.

I had a choice between high mileage 250's which would have needed work doing or this mint R26. Having never owned one, Im glad I went with the older car. It feels very similar to my old 182 but much much quicker (296 bhp/300lb-ft).

Quite a raw driving experience but one that I love. As you can see, the condition is incredible for a 12 year old car, the body work and interior are a credit to the last owner.
Its had quite a few tasteful modifications both mechanically and cosmetically, there is currently nothing else on the horizon that I intend to do, not yet anyway!
Anyway, here are a few photos for you:

  4. You´re right Nicholas, that machine looks amazing. Welcome to the Club and hope you enjoy same or more that the others RSs you had.

  5. Thanks. Appreciate the nice comments.

  6. Does look good. Nice to see front mud flaps means the previous owner made some effort to minimise stone chips on rear of car.

Love that colour and because Renault never used on 250 or Clio very unique to R26 & F1 Team I guess.

  7. Exactly man! I´d fit the same ones on my old 225. Maybe are not the most beauty thing that you can fit on a Meg, but they save many chips or hard dirty on it.
