As the title says. They are my nearest tuner. I went for a dyno run and made 227.3 bhp completely standard r26. I got chatting to the boss and he has had various Clio’s and interestingly a meglio (same engine as mine) He mapped it himself and says he has done other r26’s, mk3 megane’s without any problems. Everything he says about mapping mine tallies with what I have read about on here (the weak points of the engine and what’s safe) He recommends a airtec intercooler then he will live map it on a dyno to a maximum of 270bhp, 270 torque. Also he’s asking a reasonable £300 for the map, and it’s 10 mins from where I live. So my dilemma is to give it a go or one day pluck up the enthusiasm to drive 4.5 hours to rs tuning.

I drive from Plymouth to Runcorn, 6hrs each way and after having RSt play with my last car, i'm very happy to drive to EFI and having a good job done. Engine dynamics actually declined to map my 225 due to the mods.
So your saying efi over rs tuning? And what mods have you had done for Engine dynamics to turn you away?
Iv been to both rst with my mk2 meg and efi with my mk3. Couldn't fault either one. No faults with either map. Just efi was cheaper at the time of my my 250 map and I was headed to Manchester anyways Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Yes every day, my 320hp at RSt turned out to be 265 on EFI rollers, he got it up to 317hp and it was a dramatic difference. Fitted a forged 250 engine, hybrid turbo, bigger intake and exhaust valves, 3" decat exhaust system, uprated fuel system with rising rate etc etc.
Engine dynamics mapped my RS250 and were fantastic, highly recommend them and they are closer to you. They are renault specialists and very highly regarded generally.
having used all three mentioned there's one I'd not use again as not all mappers have same understanding of these reno ECU 'qirks' and deffo head for EFI, but then again if maybe not planning keeping car go local
Not seen your car around here. I’m local to them too but know they do a lot of Ford stuff do I went to RST. They’re friendly with Gary Spooner (The Clio man) and they do a lot of work for each other.
