ohhhh yes i got there The weather was a bit changeable in the morning, the asymmetric 5's were getting a bit warm as it was drying so put the 595's on then it rained, it was a bit of a nightmare, wet dry wet, dry, but during the lunch break it started to rain so the asymmetric 5's went on and it carried on raining for the rest of the day they are so good in the wet, think i will buy another set for when these wear out. A good few went home so there were less on track. had a really good day
Did make 398.7 but the 630 injectors were maxed out, so Chris has knocked it back a reasonable amount to make it safe. Next job is to find a replacement for the in tank pump.
had one in my mk2, but I'm sure the mk3 one is different, that why i have asked if anyone has an old one in the wanted thread
Will be when i can get enough fuel into it and the actuator is sorted I'll then get him to turn it right back down
Gutted about the issues you're having with the set up! My asymmetric 2s were great in the wet as are my supersport that it's currently got on, I imagine the 5s are a step up from the 2s!
Was good to see you again Ian and a good day had by all. The yellow peril for once performed faultlessly all day for us and was properly quick, much to the disgust of several bmw M owners and a nearly new 911 gt3.
Its just teething problems, it will get there might leave it as it is and then sort it over the winter. The asymmetric 3's were very good, the 5's i think are better, the best lap on my well worn 595's was 2.14.07, pissing down with the asymmetric 5's best was 2.23.67, well happy with that
and you mate, you must have been having too much fun in the yellow peril as you didn't have your passenger laps it makes a change to see the other makes have problems, that smoky M5 looked like that was going to be an expensive repair
Yeah it will be I reckon. Don’t think the integra and polo owners were very happy after smashing their cars up either
