Just got hold of a 225 lux and it's somehow been running a decat for the last 5 years, needless to say 'check emissions' lights have just come on with no notable change in behaviour. I guess it was cleared long enough to sell it to me, any way I'm really looking for a standard cat, can swap for the milktek 3" pipe that is on there or buy. Surprisingly quiet with this mod anyway until youayou hit boost,I can't be driving around unroadworthy. Cheers.
I believe the decat pipes reference they fit 225 R26 R26.R RST so presumably the same applies to the cat
Guess since it's a criminal offence to sell a motor vehicles that is unroadworthy I can reclaim the costs from the seller.
Good luck with that, they’ll likely just say they didn’t know it was de catted and it always passed it’s mot.
