  1. Just ordering up the above.

the lower mount has 2 variants..the early plastic type and the later alloy item.
Anyone know which is the correct one for a R26?

Also i cant seem to see the correct ones for the upper torque link..or do they not do inserts for this??

  2. I’ve just fallen foul of this Andrew, there are 3 variants, my r26 has the cast alloy arm which needs pff60-526, however I’ve got both the other types .

Only definite way of telling is jack it up and have a look underneath, if yours is the non cast type I’ll sort you a deal out

Got a brand new gearbox mount bush and 20mm arb bushes spare too if you’re interested?

And I don’t think there are any for the torque link.

  3. yeah..they dont do a upper torque link....you can get a febi bilstein one for little more than £20...and it looks identical.
That link doesnt do to much anyhow.

I will jack the car up and have a look...is your gearbox mount the yellow type?
and what ARB bushes are they?

  4. Arb for the R26 are 21mm, not 20. The 20's are for the 225's. Only know this as I had a full set of Powerflex suspension and engine/gearbox bushes fitted 3 weeks ago.

  5. how you finding the bushes..any more vibration?..you using the yellow?

  6. is the gearbox mount powerflex to?

  7. Yeah the yellow gearbox mount Andrew and having looked into it as Si says 20mm arb are 225 only not r26, so they wont fit yours.

  8. i will take that mate..let me see what lower engine mount i have tmrow...i will take a pic to confirm if its a plastic or alloy one.

  9. Morning, yep, using the yellow ones. There's a bit more initial vibration on start up, but nothing serious, after that they feel great. With all the suspension bushes changed too the car feels much tighter, a very worthwhile upgrade in my opinion, I would highly recommend doing. However, with my coilovers and TD 1.2's, (et45), the car does seem to tramline significantly more. Now thinking about another set of wheels with a more realistic offset!
