hi guys. just had a regas. fitted a new condenser and dryer and high pressure switch on the dryer too.. the guy thinks its not working because the interior air temp is showing -26.3 but this is on a obd reader. my question is as i cant see the centre of the compressor spinning is it a knackered or b need to plugged into renault clip?. c i wont see it spinning at all d the fan comes on slow speed when i switch it on too. any thoughts
you have to make sure that the interior fan is running and the temperature is set low for it to even think of running.
will i see the compressor running or are these the new type where they run all the time cant really hear the clutch kicking in. rev drop slightly but that will the fan coming on
No you will see the clutch spinning, if it's not spinning it's not getting a signal or the clutch pack is open circuit. I know it's a bit tight in there but if you can apply a voltage to the clutch solenoid coil to see if that working.
