i know ian it would be i have a neighbour two doors down from me and he has a nissan 350z and he’s always tinkering with that everyday so when i do get stuck i just ask him now and again because it’s hands on you see it’s very hard to get jobs done over the phone yes i agree paitence does help ian you have to have patience with these cars cus nothing is easy laughing laughing........

Its always worth speaking to and watching someone doing these jobs, then if you can get someone to watch you doing the job and pointing out when you are doing bit the wrong way, its all a learning curve, you also never stop learning.

I am not an expert on these cars far from it but i have more than an interest in anything mechanical, so i think that helps

The mk3 one is really bad to get out, had to remove the drivers seat to get in there, also had to remove the clutch peddle unit as well :cry:

Heres a good shot of how much lower the frames make the seat. upload_2020-4-20_19-41-0.png

You know the steering wheel moves Andrew, you can lower it to see the speedo and look over the wheel :laughing::laughing:

  15. even i knew that...you are effectively sat on the floor now,so no matter where you put it,you are still looking through the wheel, then down on it as standard:laughing:

How tall are you then Andrew
Or should have said how short :laughing::laughing:

I have Ktec bases in mine , yes it was lower but didn't think it was that low

  17. Holy crap, can't believe the height difference!

When I heard about this I thought it would be a bit pointless, but now that I see it WOW!

I do like the blue colour, looks really nice.

  18. i am 6ft 2"!

  19. feels utterly odd when you first get in.It reminded me instantly of my old Integra DC2...always took people by suprise when they got in..and fell into the seat,as it virtually sat on the floor.Easier for cars back then,as the seats had no wiring in them, for airbacks, seat belt pre-tensioners etc..

  20. upload_2020-4-20_23-19-54.png this is This is me ian..no not the nutcase in the pants!..the guy in the red shorts..not exactly a short ass!
