  1. Could you advise me. What camber/toe I need to do to make car really stable at high speeds
I have kw var3 suspension with OEM top mounts

  2. Think also in rear toe/camber setup with the shims

  3. I think yes. But what parameters I need to make

  4. I think that is very personal Matthew. Maybe I can set a parameters that works fine with my driving kind, and that same parameters in the same car would be a shit for you. I don´t know man, is a "set and test" problem I think.

  5. yes you are correct but I think there is some setup to make car stable at high speeds

  6. I can tell my setup for trackday but it doesn't mean it's going well...

    Front:
    Camber - 2.0
    Toe - 0.75
    Caster Add +1

    Back:
    Camber - 1.75
    Toe +0.2

  7. thank you
    How did you increase caster?

  8. if want straight line stability i go more like +1.5 in rear which in real world is around 12' toe in

  9. I see many people with negative toe. I go with +6´ or +10´ sexagesimal total toe, it feel a direction more direct on the corners. About the camber, never less than -1,5º sexagesimal. But like I said, is very personal:wink:

  10. For stability you’d need roughly 12’ per side toe IN at rear so 24’ total

  11. Thanks you your advice !! now at rear I have -005 per side toe and I thing that's why car not stable and pretty nervous

  12. here is what sutup now at my car
    and how lowering
    suspension kw var3

  13. please look at my setup on the photos !!! I have that specs now )
you advise to make rear toe to stock setup?

  14. Which one is rear toe in the pic

  15. at second pic
    -1.12 and -1.07 rear camber
and -004 and -003 rear toe

  16. Do you have any shims on the rear beam at the minute

  17. I do not know it( because I bought a car with that setup
I just setup kw var3 suspension and lower it

  18. You should be able to see if it’s got shims in. If you put 10’ shims in then that’s just of the 25 total toe

  19. That would work well and give good stability, would need to have good look at it on machine first as some those factory arms can give quite startling different reading from one side to other

  20. but what factory setup af toe and camber megane got?

  21. In rear not lot think something like .9deg camber and nothing to speak of toe wise

  22. overall I get it !!
I do rear at stock setup and front as advised above

  23. Toe Out on Rear will increase rotation drastically . My oem settings were at 0'20 ish per side , so i corrected to 0'02 ish IN to compensate "added stability" when i went coilover route. Toe'ing out on rear that much is your problem . I will go to around 0'08 IN each side , on my next Geo try'out to increase a tad of stability as the car is pretty lively on a normal public day drive . On track it's ok.

  24. I went for a drive the other day in a friend's car and was surprised that his car reacts much more sharply to turning the steering wheel !! set out to do the same for myself
he has a kw var3 mark on his car and stock wheel alignment angles
I have kw clubsport on my car and the front settings are -2 degrees of camber and -0.05 toe per wheel !!
    rear settings in stock
    one difference he have r18 8,5wide and et51 with 225-45 ps4 Michelin
    and I have 8j et45 with 235-40 ad08r

I checked the whole suspension, no problems were found !!
    what can affect steering responsiveness
