Only had the car 2 weeks so I've only had chance to fit the following but I have to say the Collins Performance Stage 1 remap is the best so far . That was done within 12 hours of ownership - being a dealer has its perks
- Collins Performance stage 1 remap
- K&N panel filter
- Mongoose catback exhaust
- HID dip and fog conversions, LED sidelights

More to follow though as the postman is bringing parts each day LOL

 

CL RC5's - turn what was an effective but slightly wooden feeling braking system into something that actually responds to pressing the pedal with less than your body weight in force.

Next... probably a remap.

 

Kenwood head unit and vibe sub/ amp combo, so much better then the standard kit

 

Short shift for me. Makes the shift what it should of been when it left the factory.

 

Stage 1 map from RS-Tuning because it pulls like a train on steroids and never fails to put a smile on my face.

 

Its between the 630's and the R26.R gearbox

 

I think my brakes are my favourite mod-330mm PF front discs, Pagid RS5 front pads and Pagid RS4-4 rear pads, but the extra 85-90bhp over the standard car is also enjoyable.

 

The gearboxes are different?

Yes the gearbox is between standard and the modified short shift mod. I also have an R gearbox and in my old r26 box I had the short shift mod. Much prefer the r box.

 

Also, the insides of the R 'box are gold plated, each synchro ring is embelished with a dozen rubies, and they're hand assembled by beautiful French virgins

 

My best mod is my ocean fresh air freshener on the rear view mirror.

Best mod so far? R spoiler, changes the look/purpose of the car.

Second is the quikc shift closely followed by the induction kit.

Have a feeling a remap is going to change my mind though!

 

Blufin remap. Simple, cheap, fast and reliable way to turn a fast car into a beast of a car.

 

Whys that then?,its the same gearbox..
The only difference is the linkage on the top of the gearbox..which is almost identical to the shortshift modification

Ask Dan and steve R26R on here,they both feel the Shortshift mod is better..which it will be, as the gearcable location, is a evolution of the R26R`s

I suspect your actuator was getting tight..which is very common..makes the shift very un-responsive.

 

On my R26 it was Stage 1 map and the short shift mod. Only thing I've done to the r is change the manual mirrors to electric ones.

 

Having used both I prefer the r as it is a little longer and feels better. But you are correct both are ND0 020 but the r has a different linkage.

 

federal RSRs for track use made for a much more predictable car.

 

Seat covers to stop the dog ruining the recaros.

Only other thing I've fitted was a double-din heat unit with bluetooth phone and audio.

 

LED the full car looks so much more modern, it looks weird now looking at the orange glow from other car interiors
