  1. Just trying to find the outlet of the scuttle drain pipe without striping half the heat sheilds. Does anyone know where it comes out under the car

  2. It's drivers side I can't find

  3. It comes out in the wheel arch area. Get a metal coat hanger, straighten it up and use that from above to push into the drain hole. It will push the dead leaves and dirt out

or get an air line on it, make sure you seal the top off with a rag or something, or you will get a face full :openmouth:

  5. Thanks a lot for your replys Il try an airline on It tommorow. Had coat hanger down there earlier could only get a ft down and and hit a dead stop proper head scratcher. Had to fit a new steering rack a few months ago had water inside even though the gators were perfect must have seeped in through bearing explains where the water came from cheers for your help

  6. The dead stop you're hitting will be the blockage, mine was exactly the same when I did it. Just gotta keep at it, it'll eventually clear.

  7. Thought it mite be but was trying to be carefull not to damage the pipe cheers Il have another go tommorow I'm a builder so gentle isn't my thing i usually play with lump hammers

  8. Used electrical cable first time I cleaned them as it is more flexible. Now use a camelback drinking pipe cleaning brush and push a bit of net off of a shower body loofah down the drains to stop leaves etc. blocking them back up.

  9. Cheers I'l try the mesh idea still havnt unblocked it I've tried wires bee sting ariel hose pipe wedged in full pressure nothing will clear it I'm starting to think I mite of squashed it when i changed the steering rack a few months ago. Dont remember seeing it when I did the job would that make sense

  10. I cut the little non return valve off at the end of the pipe and used the original aerial pushed all the way, seems to have worked!

  11. Sorted it I did the same thing pulled the pipe out cut the end off. It was full of sand and crap nothing will get stuck in there now cheers
