250 What is the best gear box oil?

just get the OEM one from Renault, mine it's changed and never had problems with it

 

Any good 75w/80 fully synthetic gear oil will do

 

How much does it take?

 

2.3 ltrs from memory

 

I’ve recently changed from OE (I assume) Renault oil having done nearly 90k miles to Castrol Syntrans 75w80. There’s been no loss of ability to shift and the cold shift has marginally improved where I had more notchiness. Could be as a result of the fresh oil rather than the change of brand though!
