Proud new owner of 265 s/s cup

Hi all, started browsing on here a couple months ago prior to purchase, waited for as close to the right spec as poss, ended up travelling 4 hours to collect a white 64 plate RS 265 on 18's, PS4's all round, cup pack and leather recaro's for what I think is a couple K below market value, chuffed.

Had it for 3 weeks now and although I have had the privilege of driving some awesome stuff, it has got to be the most fun I have had on a British B road. I Live in West Sussex so there are some good roads around here, it is remarkable how much extra purchase you get on the road surface from the LSD vs non-LSD cars I have had in the past, especially in the wet and I find the damping brilliant even without the ohlins.

Very much looking forward to ownership, nothing major planned, want to keep it as OEM as possible however I will look at some braided hoses, decent pads and brake fluid and do a few track days. Going to keep for a fair few months before I consider a remap, only time I feel like it would be good is when I encounter something fairly quick (m140, a45 etc) on the motorway (childish I know), on b roads it feels silly fast already.

Would be good to know if there are any others around the area that go for runs etc?

Thanks pal, couldn't agree more. They are epic, always look/feel special and yeah, I was a little worried when I put the deposit down but I had read good things, no better way than a 4 hour trip back down south to test them, absolutely no complaints. Great, when the weather improves a bit I will probably try to organise something!

Indeed, I have only seen one and I have been on the lookout.
