Clutch damper removal

  1. Did mine with the engine out, sorry that doesn't help does it :neutral:
     
  2. I did the gearbox end from underneath
     
  3. Just done it from underneath with tray off, a lot easier. Just pushed it in until fluid was coming out then clipped it down. Sat in car with engine running and foot on clutch for five minutes and it feels all good!

    Does HEL CCK125 have thread connection or connection like on bobsan’s picture on 15th July? On the webshop I see thread connection. Thanks!

  9. Hi guys, just doing mine, connected and bled. But I can't work out where the rubber bungs go and what are those clips for? I've seen your pictures before but I'm still in doubt :worried:

  10. The black bungs go in where you’ve clipped it into them two grey plastic clips
     
  11. Your images look good, could slide rubber to anywhere hose touches and place cable tie either end to secure

  16. I should have paid the £60 :smile:, just removing the battery box is worth that :grinning:. Found a replacement clip for the one I broke, P/N 7703179006.

  17. Do you know if the clutch damper delete line is the same for RHD and LHD vehicles ?

  18. I would say yes, as on the RHD cars the main cylinder is still on the left hand side, so is the brake booster.
     
  19. The original part numbers are different, so not sure

    But as the originals are metal it might be that the bends in the pipework are different thus that giving them different numbers
     
  20. Thank you, yes, I’ve seen that the part numbers are not the same, I want to order one but I don’t want to waste money in something that doesn’t fit :/ . (My car is LHD)

    it fit my left hand drive car with no problems

  22. Hello.. i have clio2008 1.5 dci.. having same issue, my clutch paddle is just dead.. and when i checked i can see oil on this damper. What do you suggest? Should i just remove that one or what? Mechanic is telling me to replace whole clutch..
     
  23. Best thing to do is get a damper delete pipe, these are prone to failing on 250/265 etc
     
  24. Thank you.. i was reading about that and was trying to find a way to buy that.. but i couldnt find one for clio
     
  25. There is a very strong possibility that the 250 one would fit, can't see Renault swapping to different fittings on another model car, it might be a bit longer.

    Sorry i don't know that much about Clio's
