Lol your moving it next to nothing it will make almost zero difference. My point is there will be pads tbat coukd be used that would allow the full surface of the disc to be utised. The surcace area change and the asdociated increased brake pad area will give a far greater advantage than a few mm's change in diameter and it's affect on lever length
On any ‘big brake kit’ it’s only the centre bell that increases in diameter pushing the disc surface further outward which offers slightly more efficient clamping of the rotating disc Factory disc is 340mm this disc is 350mm the disc surface and pad size remain the same
3 Jamie stick to what you know. Any disc can be spaced from the hub using a custom bracket which then allows a bigger disc to be fitted or as mentioned the bell size changed to allow fitment without affecting the caliper/hub placement in relation to the disc. There's are numerous pad suppliers that can make custom pads which can be utilised thete may even be off the shelf options that will allow a wider pad to be used the only dimension that can't be changed is the height. There is obviously a finite amount it can be changed before it is too far away from the pistons for it to be effective. I have seen this done numerous times in the past in other race cars
Ah so your now talking about getting pads custom made? [emoji23] Which you admit isn't ideal as they get further away from the pistons, They taper bad enough as is never mind adding depth to the pad area

Remind me again what you do for a living and what you have done over the years in terms of building and modding cars, no not what you have paid people to do, what you have done. Yeh I thought so. This is the same guy telling people to chop the shit out of their top mounts then shows pics of his own with strengthening rings welded in after they were enlarged yeh priceless. Ps I did see what you put pre edit Anyway none of this is helping the OP sell his discs.
I can give you literally 10 examples off my head where the same caliper is used (with same geo pad) across a range of disc diameters, across multiple OEM's and it seems to be OK. For one, close to home, Renault offered the Bi metallic disc on the M3RS Trophy R disc (350mm). Same caliper, same pad geometry, just a different dia. Even the MK4RS uses same caliper, pad, but an slightly larger disc (355mm). I'm an aero engineer by trade with 12 years if it makes a difference! To any potential buyer, these discs will work perfect with your current pads and calipers.
