looks wicked that engine bay and fast and the clamps iv never seen before but they do look good i’ll see how i get in with these t clamps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lol it went pretty well 551BHP at the wheels and weighed 1060kg. There is a lot of parts and suppliers out there beyond the usual ones I have seen on the Megane and Clio forums.
My Airtec and many others was a piece for piss to fit. The OE spring clamp things are a pain but zero issues with fitment or quality here.
Didn't buy it through a group buy, but my Airtec 95mm is a work of art, reat quality and a great fit! Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
i have received invoice but not intercooler as of yet still waiting. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ye i think ap motorsport did say that they will be posting the last 3 or 4 intercoolers out this week but am still waiting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi guys, we are chasing AIRTEC for the remaining ones and hope for them to be finished and ready to go out ASAP. No given date for dispatch yet for definite but I expect them to go out very soon. Hold tight all remaining members.... they shouldn’t be much longer and you will get an email or text to confirm it is due out for delivery. Any updates we receive will be posted here.
UPDATE: I am told all remaining AIRTEC coolers left the factory yesterday so you should all have email or text confirmation of delivery due for either today or Monday.
yes i have received a text message saying i am going to receive intercooler today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Received mine Friday thank you. Looks decent enough. Like others said though it’s a shame they didn’t mask off the outlets when painting
Has anyone fitted theirs and ran car up on a dyno? Anyone had any issues with not making correct power ?
same here not had it mapped yet i’d be interested in a group buy with RS tuning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Correct power?! What are you on about?! You think that just by fitting a bigger cooler is gonna give you bigger figures? You've gotta fit the correct accompanying parts, and have it mapped properly! Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
ye this would be the set up i would have CGR 3 inch decat full miltek exhaust 630 cc injectors forge hard pipe kit i have the full itg kit and 70mm airtec intercooler should pull in between 250 to 280. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mine was making 271bhp/300lb/ft on standard exhaust, standard injectors, standard pipes, standard turbo and a 95mm Airtec cooler and mapped of course. With the bigger injectors and a decent map hopefully you'll get a bit more. I highly recommend the 250 turbo upgrade, smf and upgraded clutch too! I'm now running 302bhp and 303lbft, both capped by RS Tuning, until I forge the engine. [emoji16] Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
I bought my R26 initially as a cheap ish run around, thought I'd do a few cheeky cheap mods and be satisfied, but, unfortunately not! Be aware...... Its an expensive addiction, mine has got out of control, my other half hates it more than words can say, my daughter loves it, and all I can think is...... Should've bought a Jap import and could've been running silly BHP for the money I've invested. But.... It puts a big grin on my face every time I drive the bastard thing! Good luck with it, and enjoy! But...... Be prepared to spend, just to keep it on the road! [emoji106] Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
ye i know these cars are expensive especially when it comes to replacing swivel hubs and the wishbones and the two front bearings and the track rod end and the 2 front staberlizers your talking in excess of at least £600 if you buy new from renault Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

and i did the front ph2 front bumper and bought 2 R26R front headlight from renault new which cost £240 each. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
you need to get your hands dirty, you can save loads of money, swivel bearings i was paying £24 each including the seals, believe it or not, this job was so much easier with coil overs fitted
ye i got the swivel hub bearings and the grease bolts of matt but just haven’t got round to replacing them yet that’s my next job on the list replace both sides and have the hub refurbished. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
