Had the Megane R26 remapped by highly recommend Engine Dynamics.
Only heard good things about them.

    Car is standard apart from:

Scorpion back box - no decat
    Induction kit
    Standard Injectors

I’ve attached pictures of before and after
To me the torque had a decent increase, but the BHP gains seemed low?

They said it was capped at a safe level.
Is that a average reading for a stage 1 remap on a nearly standard car??

I know on the comments they said it could be cam timing issue or a slight vacuum leak?

Any help on this matter would be appreciated, as I always thought it’s around 250-260bhp for a stage 1?

  2. I had mine remapped at ED.
That does seem low. When I bought my R26 it had a remap on it that gave 256 bhp.
But then a piston shat itself possibly due to the original remap and I got the engine rebuilt at ED and that plus 630 injectors got me 262bhp.

  3. sounds like the engines not 100% healthy at the moment.
remember these are now old cars..
mine made 260hp 285lb/ft ..7 or 8 years ago completely stock.

  4. As above. Mine was/is about 275 but the notes above indicate some potential issues which may affect the power. Better to be safe than sorry though...
