Windscreen broke last night which is annoying. Was going to take my car to garage to get my new auto dimming wing mirror fit though so now I'll just get the windscreen guy to do it! :tearsofjoy:

Got the mirror fitted today, the cables weren't there so made one up and it works great! Only a couple of things left to retrofit now like xenon's and folding mirrors. Next job is my new steering wheel when that arrives in April!

Got some stuff done this week.
New steering wheel in Alcantara with yellow stitching and yellow 12H strip in leather, the whole wheel reshaped with padding. Looks amazing IMO. Carbon trim on the wheel and rest of the interior.

Thanks! Thought I'd go for something a little different to the standard Royal Steering Wheels or Snappy wheels.

It was a while ago now but I fit the squib when I did my wheel and it still doesn't work. I didn't get a proper look into coding it in afterwards as I needed to go so maybe it just needs coding but when searching for it the option was missing still! Annoying!

Black or carbon middle vent? Thought there was too much carbon so painted my spare vent

Sent my steering wheel bits, hand brake and gearstick bits to be done in real carbon as the steering wheel bits started peeling. Should look much nicer being real

Got my MOT tomorrow and the bottom ball joint is clunking so I hope they don't fail it. Booked in for the 28th which is the earliest I could get so if they fail it I'm fucked!

  14. Why don't you order two new ones?

I've already got them but it's not the kind of thing I'd trust a backstreet garage to do and earliest day I could get was the 28th

  16. Should find a better backstreet garage, been taking my cars to the same garage for 20 years

Heard a lot of stories saying due to the design of the hub it's easy to crack if you've never done them before, don't want to risk that happening which is why I want to take it someone who does them a lot

Got new lower and upper ball joints on both sides this week, car feels a lot tighter and doesn't clunk when parking now, only thing left to do is a few more interior bits and find some xenons

  20. I love absolutely everything about this build! Definitely going to bookmark the thread for when i get round to doing mine. The only thing I've not seen mentioned in what intercooler you are running?

Cheers appreciate it! Stock intercooler I believe, wasn't mapped by me. I may upgrade it if I go hybrid which I may next year.

Yeah I got the RS one, got the 5 speed one and made it fit with a little modification as it's half the price of the 6 speed one lol

Yeah I did, I know it's quite expensive but worth it. Was doing my tits in when it kept missing parts on the windscreen

  31. insanely annoying, that nozzle seems to cover nicely

  32. have see other nozzles (Kangaroo) that deliver even more mist across whole screen that initially look good until realise for couple seconds cant see bloody thing, your one seems to have good balance

You're better off asking @-Jamie-, he's done it.
I've got some custom headlights being buildtthey should arrive next week but they use a different style xenon so the fitment will be a bit different, not too difficult from what I've heard though.

Installed custom headlights over the weekend, made by Modified Lights UK!
They're xenon with the lwoer bar being sidelights and the indicators. Insides are black with a yellow flick.
So much nicer at night than the candle in jam jar halogens on these!
