Compression ratio?

  1. I've done a stage 1 on my 225 p2 and am now considering going to stage 2 with forged piston, rings and rods as well as injectors etc.
Existing turbo just runs out of puff around 5.5k revs. Currently running 260 bhp and 315 ft/ lbs , so considering a unit from an rs 250. Will this unit hang on longer across the range???
Question is, what sort of compression ratio would be suitable for this set up. Not tracking the car or running high boost, so I'm guessing a fairly low c/r would suit this set up?????

A 250 turbo will give you about 320hp with the right extra's with the standard compression ratio (9.0-1)
You will need 630 injectors, but it would also benefit from a better fuel system, a 250 fuel rail, a 5bar tank regulator, if you can get some 8.5-1 ratio pistons, that will then future proof it for running a bigger turbo, but the only pistons I've seen are a lot more expensive than the 9.0-1 pistons.
